Time: 8:30 a.m. to noon (EST)
Cost: Complimentary

Presented by:
Plunkett Cooney's Labor & Employment Law Practice Group

TOPIC OVERVIEW

This complimentary half-day seminar featured a thought-provoking video, titled: "CLUELESS: The Cost & Consequence of Untrained Management." The star of the video was "Steve" a truly clueless IT Supervisor who blunders his way - from an employment liability perspective - through his company's annual "War Week."

Attendees watched as Steve "lead" his team on a roller coaster ride of employment law issues, including a sexual harassment complaint, an FMLA leave request, medical marijuana use, a wage and hour dispute, alleged employee retaliation and much more. Just how clueless was Steve and how much liability did his lack of training cost his company before the end of "War Week?"

Following the video presentation, Plunkett Cooney's panel of labor and employment law attorneys broke down the numerous issues bungled by Steve, answered questions and discussed with audience members the best practices applicable in each situation.

Wrapping up the morning's presentation was a detailed labor and employment law update examining the myriad of state and federal laws impacting employers, as well as recent case law updates and a look at regulatory compliance issues.
