Radpour Beering joins Plunkett Cooney’s Banking Practice Group
With over 20 years of experience in private practice and as
in-house counsel for a national bank, Shokrina Radpour Beering recently joined the Indianapolis office of Plunkett Cooney, one of the Midwest’s oldest and largest law firms.

In addition to joining Plunkett Cooney as a partner in the Banking, Bankruptcy & Creditors’ Rights Practice Group, Beering will also manage the firm’s Indianapolis office. She concentrates her practice in the areas of banking law, real estate and business law.
Beering represents financial institutions in the areas of commercial lending, business law and commercial real estate. She also serves as general counsel for several corporations and represents clients ranging from closely held businesses to multibillion-dollar organizations, providing advice on such issues as entity formations and structure, corporate governance and transactional areas of practice.
Designated a “Super Lawyer” for several years now by Indiana Super Lawyers magazine, Beering has a number of honors to her credit, including being one of only three fellows of the American College of Mortgage Attorneys from the state of Indiana. She is also a board member and past president of IndyCREW, a chapter of CREW Network (Commercial Real Estate Women). Her involvement within the legal community extends to several professional organizations, including the Business Law section of the Indianapolis Bar Association, as well as the Business Law and Probate Trust & Real Property sections of the Indiana State Bar Association.
Admitted to state and federal courts in Indiana, Beering received her law degree from Indiana University School of Law in 1986 and her master’s and undergraduate degrees from Purdue University in 1983 and 1981 respectively. She has also completed coursework at the College of Financial Planning in Denver, Colorado.
The firm’s Indianapolis office provides a number of services, including but not limited to, insurance coverage, title insurance, general civil litigation and banking, bankruptcy and creditors’ rights law. Plunkett Cooney’s attorneys routinely handle such matters in state and federal courts throughout the state of Indiana.
Established in 1913, Plunkett Cooney maintains offices in nine Michigan cities and one each in Columbus, Ohio and Indianapolis, Indiana.
