Bloomfield Hills, MI — July 18, 2007 — Al A. Mokhtari has joined the Columbus, Ohio office of Plunkett Cooney as a commercial and general litigation attorney.
Mokhtari has a diverse practice which includes the areas of general litigation, insurance defense, personal injury, trucking and transportation, commercial litigation, insurance coverage, professional liability, premises liability and real estate law, including eminent domain, land use, zoning and landlord/tenant matters.
Mokhtari’s clients include insurance companies, Fortune 500 corporations, transportation and trucking companies, major retail outlets and various municipalities. He also serves as outside counsel to an Ohio-based mortgage company and a regional transportation company.
Mokhtari is a member of the Columbus and Ohio bar associations. He is admitted to practice in Ohio, as well as in the federal courts in the Northern and Southern Districts of Ohio. Mokhtari received his law degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Law in 1999, where he was a member of the Student Bar Association and Mock Trial Team. Mokhtari earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from The Ohio State University in 1996, with dual majors in Political Science and International Studies.
