12.07.2007

Plunkett Cooney Healthcare Industry Group Leader Mark S. Kopson spoke on Nov. 19 about payor-provider contract and relationship issues to attendees of the American Podiatric Medical Association’s (APMA) 14th Annual CAC/PIAC meeting in Arlington , VA.

Specifically, Kopson addressed the impact of recent healthcare industry trends on payor and plan participation agreements, as well as steps providers can take to preserve their practices and incomes.

“This was a tremendous opportunity for me to address some real areas of concern for podiatrists across the entire United States ,” said Kopson, an Of Counsel member of Plunkett Cooney’s Bloomfield Hills office. “Keeping up with the rapidly changing business and legal landscape in healthcare can be challenging for physicians, so my remarks were well-received.”
