Rasmussen lends expertise to firm’s expanding Ohio office

Rasmussen, who recently joined the Columbus, Ohio office of Plunkett Cooney, one of the Midwest’s oldest and largest full-service law firms.

Rasmussen, a member of Plunkett Cooney’s Banking, Bankruptcy & Creditors’ Rights and Real Estate and Transactional practice groups, has extensive experience representing corporate clients in business, corporate, commercial and real estate law. She focuses her practice in such areas as creditors’ rights, loan/lease documentation, commercial debt collection, business/corporate law, commercial real estate, bankruptcy, UCC law and commercial litigation. She also assists privately held companies with business acquisitions, mergers and sales, and relations among owners.
Rasmussen participates in numerous professional and community organizations in Columbus and throughout the state of Ohio, including the Commercial Law League, Commercial Real Estate Women, and International Women's Insolvency and Restructuring Confederation. She is also a member of the American Bar Association’s Business Law Section and the American Bankruptcy Institute.
A frequent writer and speaker, Rasmussen has authored numerous articles for local publications such as Business First and Columbus C.E.O. magazine and regularly speaks to professional and business organizations on her areas of expertise. As part of her community outreach, she authors the Ohio Practical Business Law blog, which is designed to educate executives about the many legal issues impacting the business community today.
