Office Information

Since its inception in 1913, Plunkett Cooney has maintained an office in downtown Detroit. Today, the firm’s office can be found in the historic Buhl Building, which is located at the corner of Congress Street and Griswold Street.

The downtown office is strategically located just blocks from the U.S. District Courthouse and the Detroit City-County Building. At present, more than 30 attorneys and their support staff are assigned to this location.

Plunkett Cooney’s Detroit attorneys specialize in all facets of the law, including appellate law, workers’ compensation, labor and employment, business law, general liability, insurance law, complex litigation, motor vehicle liability, toxic torts and many other areas of practice.

The managing partner of the Detroit office is Henry B. Cooney, who is also the firm’s president and chief executive officer.
