With nearly 30 years of legal experience, Mark D. Robins currently serves as the Workers’ Compensation Practice Group Leader for Plunkett Cooney.
Mr. Robins is a partner and senior litigator in the firm’s Detroit office, where he practices exclusively in the area of workers’ compensation law. His clients include numerous insurance companies and commercial clients across southeast Michigan.
A graduate of Wayne State University School of Law, Mr. Robins is actively involved in a number of professional organizations, including the Workers’ Compensation Law Section of ALFA International, a consortium of 120 law firms.
Representative Client Work
- Defended municipalities, companies, employers, insurance companies and third party administrators in hundred of hearings and trials
- Defended insurance companies and self-insured employers in numerous major workers’ compensation claims, including claims involving coordination of benefits, psychiatric disability, orthopedic disabilities, cardio-pulmonary disability, etc.
- Special Assistant Attorney General for the State of Michigan, representing the State of Michigan and Funds Administration.
