Said A. Taleb, is a litigation attorney in the firm’s Detroit office who focuses his practice in the areas of trucking and transportation law, premises liability, product liability, municipal law and litigation matters.

His clients include transportation and logistics companies, landlords, manufacturers, local and state governmental agencies and officials, and national retail corporations.  Many of his cases involve multiple parties and complex legal issues often involving significant damage and injury claims. 

Mr. Taleb served three years in the United States Army, earning the rank of Specialist. He also earned several honors, including a Commendation Medal, Good Conduct Medal, Achievement Medal and a Certificate of Achievement.

Representative Client Work

  • Sat second chair in a trial resulting in a jury verdict of no cause of action on behalf of a national auto parts retailer. The case involved allegations by the plaintiff that he was injured in an unprovoked attack by an employee
  • Received a judgment of summary dismissal of federal lawsuit against a local council member in which the plaintiff alleged damages in excess of $1,000,000 
  • Obtained a judgment of summary dismissal on behalf of a national parcel delivery corporation, which was sued by a plaintiff who alleged that its parent corporation was responsible for the subsidiary corporation’s previous acts, pursuant to a acquisition agreement. 
  • Successfully defended a local premises liability matter, obtaining a judgment of summary dismissal, on behalf of a national real estate investor
  • Obtained a summary dismissal with an award for attorney fees in a fraudulent property loss defense matter 
  • Reached an advantageous settlement for a trucking carrier in a wrongful death action in which two teenagers where killed due to a collision
