Julie L. Weitzman

Julie L. Weitzman is a member of the firm’s Bloomfield Hills office. She has experience working on general civil and criminal litigation matters, catastrophic liability cases, as well as commercial, tort, environmental, employment, regulatory, insurance coverage and class action litigation. Ms. Weitzman also has extensive experience working on products liability matters for numerous automobile and boat manufacturers and has been involved in high-profile cases in Michigan, Wisconsin, Utah and Maine.

Prior to joining Plunkett Cooney, Ms. Weitzman worked as a member of the legal staff of Michigan Consolidated Gas Company and Chrysler Corporation (American Motors Corporation). She was also affiliated with another Detroit-based law firm that specializes in product liability defense for the automobile and boating industries.

She is a graduate of Stephens College and the Oakland University Paralegal Program. She is a founding member of the International Paralegal Management Association, a worldwide organization with more than 700 members.
