Matthew J. Boettcher is a partner in the firm’s Bloomfield Hills office and managing partner of Plunkett Cooney’s Commercial Litigation Practice Group. He concentrates his practice in the area of commercial litigation with specialization in real property, contract disputes and business torts.
Representative Client Work
- Obtained a judgment of summary disposition on behalf of a national retailer in litigation involving alleged business fraud.
- Successfully defended a large retailer in a bench trial that involved a multi-million dollar lease dispute.
- Successfully prosecuted a claim for a community golf course in a lease dispute with the course operator.
- Successfully defended a service company in a jury trial against claims to enforce a non-compete agreement.
- Obtained a permanent injunction to protect the intellectual property rights of a national machine manufacturer.
