Lauren B. McMillen

Lauren B. McMillen is a member of the firm's Bloomfield Hills office who practices primarily in area of insurance law. 

Ms. McMillen represents several major property and casualty insurance companies in numerous coverage cases throughout the Midwest. Her coverage work includes handling a variety of issues, including environmental contamination, construction defect and high-exposure product liability claims.

Representative Client List

• Defended insurer in coverage litigation and settlement negotiations involving environmental contamination at 13 separate sites located throughout the nation 
• Defended insurers in coverage litigation involving a class action claim of bodily injury stemming from environmental contamination in Indiana  
• Filed declaratory judgment action on behalf of insurer with respect to a manufacturing defect claim that placed over nine million policy limits at risk
• Provides coverage opinions and recommendations to insurers on a wide range of topics, including coverage for advertising injury claims, trademark infringement, vandalism, mold, pollution, defective products, automobile injuries and collisions, premises liability claims and construction defect claims
