Lisa A. Hall is a member of Plunkett Cooney’s Banking, Bankruptcy & Creditors’ Rights Practice Group who focuses her practice primarily on creditors’ rights and related issues.
A member of the Grand Rapids office, Ms. Hall represents regional and national financial institutions in commercial loan workouts and creditors in state and federal court collection proceedings.
Ms. Hall received her law degree, cum laude, from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in 2006, where she was a senior editor of Law Review. While attending law school, she received several academic awards. She also served as a class representative in the Student Bar Association, a Cooley Ambassador - Peer Mentor, and she was a member of the Women’s Law Alliance.
Ms. Hall is a member of the State Bar of Michigan and the Grand Rapids and Federal bar associations.
Representative Client Work
- Represents local and national financial institutions in commercial loan workouts involving loans in excess of $3 million
- Successfully represented local and national financial institutions in collection proceedings for credits in excess of $1.2 million resulting in 100 percent recovery of the indebtedness owing, including all attorney fees
- Drafted loan documents for financial institutions involving credits in excess of $600,000
- Represents local and national financial institutions in foreclosure proceedings involving both commercial and residential property
