Joseph M. Ammar is a partner in the Kalamazoo office. He is a member of the firm’s Banking, Bankruptcy and Creditors’ Rights Practice Group.

Before joining Plunkett Cooney, Mr. Ammar was employed by National City Bank (now PNC Bank) as vice president and in-house counsel for 10 years where he handled commercial law matters, workouts and bankruptcy matters.

Mr. Ammar’s background also includes working as an attorney in private practice where he focused on the areas of creditors’ rights, bankruptcy and commercial litigation. His clients included secured creditors, creditors’ committees, trustees and bankruptcy debtors.
