Shokrina Radpour Beering, the managing partner of the firm's Indianapolis office, advises clients in the areas of finance, business and commercial real estate law.

With more than nine years of previous experience as in-house counsel for a national bank, Ms. Beering has extensive experience representing financial institutions in matters involving commercial lending, workout and forbearance, commercial real estate and general business law.

She also serves as general counsel for clients, advising them on their day-to-day business and transactional needs. Designated as an Indiana Super Lawyer for several years, Ms. Beering provides counsel on entity formation and structure, reorganization and restructuring, corporate governance and general business issues. She represents companies ranging from closely held businesses to multibillion-dollar organizations.

Ms. Beering is a fellow of the American College of Mortgage Attorneys, one of two in the State of Indiana, and serves as the chair for Indiana. She not only handles complex mortgage transactions throughout Indiana but also serves as special counsel on both commercial real estate and asset based loans involving interests throughout the country.

  • Serves as general counsel to closely held businesses, including ownership issues, day-to-day legal needs, corporate compliance, reorganization, and restructuring, policy and planning
  • Handles mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and teaming agreements
  • Represents commercial landlords and property managers for multi-tenant properties
  • Handles acquisition, disposition, development, receivership, financing and leasing of commercial real estate
  • Prepares and negotiates sophisticated contracts and agreements
