Thomas L. Cooper

Thomas L. Cooper is a partner and senior litigator in Plunkett Cooney’s Petoskey office.  He is a member of the firm’s Insurance, Complex Litigation and Mold/Toxin Liability practice groups. National and international insurance providers retain Mr. Cooper to serve as defense counsel on behalf of their policy policyholders involved in litigation.

Mr. Cooper has built a successful motion and trial practice in a number of areas, including general litigation, commercial claims, product liability and mold/toxin tort cases. Many of his cases involve complex issues and high exposure amounts. His practice includes claims alleging property damage, catastrophic injuries, deaths, as well as complex insurance coverage issues.
