William W. Hofmann

William W. Hofmann has been practicing law in Petoskey since 1974. He focuses his practice in transactional work including real estate, estate planning, banking, corporate and business law. Mr. Hofmann’s practice keeps him active in his community where he has served on the boards of various charitable and civic organizations.

Mr. Hofmann’s practice keeps him in touch with his community where he has served on the Boards of the Emmet County United Way, Emmet County Chapter of the American Red Cross, the joint Chamber of Commerce/City of Petoskey Downtown Development Partnership, Downtown Development Authority and Downtown Management Board.

• Represent developers in numerous condominium projects ranging from five-unit projects to an 800-unit conversion project.
• Provide advice and counsel on real estate land use issues for commercial, residential, and waterfront parcels.
• Represent clients in estate planning matters from simple wills to complex trusts.
• Represent various northern Michigan homeowner associations and Summer Resort Associations.
• Regularly represent estates in probate matters.
