Brian T. McGorisk

Brian T. McGorisk is a partner in Plunkett Cooney’s Flint office. Mr. McGorisk represents a variety of different clients in many areas of the law.  He has represented realtors, product manufacturers, general contractors, premises owners, accountants, lawyers, surveyors and engineers.  He also has focused his practice in the area of trucking and transportation and has represented numerous trucking companies during his career.

Representative Client Work

• Represented national retailers and grocery chains in a variety of lawsuits for last 17 years.
• Defended distributor and retailer in multi-million dollar copyright/trademark infringement claim involving plush toy product.
• Successfully arbitrated personal injury mold claim against a national building company.
• Defended national restaurant chain in high profile closed head injury case with indemnity and insurance coverage issues involved.
• Defended and prosecuted numerous NASD claims for and against securities firms.
• Defended numerous trucking companies in significant personal injury/wrongful death claims.  Dismissed and affirmed.
• Defended two wrongful death work related matters involving product liability and construction site management, which were ultimately affirmed on appeal.  Dismissed and affirmed.
