Position: Insurance Coverage Attorneys

Location: Bloomfield Hills, MI

Plunkett Cooney is seeking two attorneys to join the firm’s Insurance Coverage Practice Group. The Insurance Coverage Practice Group consults with and represents insurance carriers with respect to coverage analysis and bad faith/coverage litigation.  This is not a PIP litigation position.

The preferred candidate will be an experienced and versatile attorney, who has demonstrated the ability to analyze and resolve complex insurance coverage issues.

Preferred candidates should have:

• Two or more years of experience in the areas of insurance coverage (first or third party) .
• Experience in all aspects of civil litigation, including drafting pleadings and motions, taking depositions, and arguing motions
• Excellent client service
• Strong analytical, research, writing, communication, and interpersonal skills
• A J.D. from an ABA-approved law school
• Be in good standing in and an active member of the State Bar of Michigan
