TyJuan Garrett is a senior attorney in the firm’s Indianapolis office who serves as Plunkett Cooney's Tax Law Practice Group Leader. He focuses his practice primarily in the areas of business law and taxation. His clients include Fortune 500 and other companies in the manufacturing, financial services, insurance, agricultural and consumer products industries.

An attorney with more than 15 years of experience, Mr. Garrett has handled various business and tax issues, as well as related litigation. He previously worked as a senior tax consultant at a Big 4 accounting firm and as a hearing officer pro tem with the Indiana Department of Revenue.

His areas of expertise include administration law matters, business plans, compliance, contract management, financial analysis, insurance law, policy analysis, securities, real estate and tax planning.

  • Serves as corporate counsel to start-up company focusing on telehealth
  • Represents financial institutions in mortgage foreclosures and loan modification actions
