Your intrepid guides were Plunkett Cooney Senior Attorneys Laura Dinon and Rhonda Stowers who filled attendees in on what they needed to know to escape serious harm from the state’s ever-changing legal landscape.
This free, one-hour session covered Michigan’s Minimum Wage Law, the Paid Medical Leave Act and the expansion of the Elliott Larson Civil Rights Act. Laura and Rhonda also explored a very new federal law called the Pregnancy Non-Discrimination Act, which will take effect on June 27, and other new and pending Michigan legislation that impacts employers.
