Program Description:

Plunkett Cooney teamed up with Gongwer News Service – Michigan’s most trusted source for Capitol News – to host a general election preview event and “Pick the Winners Contest” for the 2022 General Election.

This virtual contest kickoff event featured Plunkett Cooney senior attorney Peter Langley and top reporters from Gongwer who cover politics and policy in Lansing every day. They examined some of the key election matchups from governor and attorney general to newly redistricted state representative and senate races.

In addition, the panel covered two hotly contested statewide ballot initiatives and previewed the inaugural Gongwer/Plunkett Cooney “Pick the Winners” General Election Contest.
