Detroit Seeks $50 M From Vendors Paid Pre-Bankruptcy

The City of Detroit yesterday initiated the first of 185 bankruptcy court actions it plans to bring against vendors who received preferential payments worth about $50 million made in the 90 days before its July 2013 bankruptcy filing.
