Snyder: Michigan Won't Recognize Same-sex Marriages

According to Plunkett Cooney employment law attorney Courtney Nichols, acknowledgment by Gov. Rick Snyder that couples were legally married on March 21 following a federal judge's ruling that Michigan's gay marriage ban is unconstitutional, may make the couples eligible for family medical leave under federal law.
