Overview
Plunkett Cooney has significant experience in the area of drug liability. Several of the firm’s attorneys have handled cases involving pharmaceuticals such as Diethylstilbestrol (DES), L-Tryptophan, and Phen-Fen.
We routinely handle cases in which the chemical properties, the recommended dosages, and the therapeutic value of pharmaceuticals are at issue.
Over the years, Plunkett Cooney has represented various pharmaceutical manufacturers, including Bristol Meyers-Squibb, Showa Denko, KK, Medeva, and Fisons.
Plunkett Cooney is presently National Coordinating Counsel for Kmart pharmaceuticals. The firm also rebuked the constitutional challenge to Michigan “FDA-immunity” statute in the decision of Taylor v Medeva.
