Michigan Wage Law Update

Originally Held: Tuesday, Aug. 20
Time: 11 a.m. to Noon (eastern)
Cost: Complimentary

Dramatic changes to Michigan’s employment landscape will take effect on Feb. 21, 2025 following a momentous decision by the state’s Supreme Court that reinstates voter-approved wages laws and reversing as unconstitutional an adopt-and-amend tactic employed by the Legislature.

Attendees of this information-packed webinar were provided with an in-depth review of the ruling and were given an explanation of how employers will be impacted by such issues as a dramatic increase in the state’s minimum wage, changes for tipped wage earners and a paid sick leave requirement for businesses, regardless of size.

This webinar was a great opportunity to gain further insight into one of the more consequential Michigan Supreme Court rulings in recent history.

Who Should Attend

Public- and private-sector employers, in-house counsel, compliance officers and commercial insurance providers were invited to attend this complimentary webinar.
