McIntyre newest member of firm’s Transportation Law Group
Attorney Mitchell McIntyre recently joined Plunkett Cooney, one of the Midwest’s oldest and largest law firms, as a member of the firm’s Transportation Law Practice Group.
“As a new member of the firm’s motor vehicle negligence team, Mitchell has shown great skill when handling coverage disputes on behalf of his clients,” said Robert G. Kamenec, Plunkett Cooney’s Insurance, Professional and Governmental Law Department Leader. “He’s an asset to our team, and I look forward to seeing his continued growth as an attorney.”
A member of the firm's Detroit office, McIntyre focuses his practice on insurance-related work involving coverage disputes, entitlement issues and catastrophic injuries, as well as on no-fault law and motor vehicle litigation.
In addition to his first- and third-party transportation practice, McIntyre has experience representing clients in cases involving medical malpractice, premises liability and employment litigation, including discrimination claims, civil rights and civil RICO actions.
McIntyre graduated, cum laude, from Wayne State University Law School in 2012. While there he received several academic honors and served as a junior and senior oralist for the school’s moot court. He received his undergraduate degree from Central Michigan University in 2008.
