Senior attorney Chapman joins firm’s real estate, title insurance practice group

Senior attorney Brian E. Chapman recently joined Plunkett Cooney, one of the Midwest’s oldest and most accomplished law firms, as a member of its Real Estate Litigation and Title Insurance Law Practice Group.

Chapman concentrates his practice in the areas of real estate law, general and title litigation, and banking and finance law. He has extensive experience defending local lenders, national mortgage loan servicers, property owners and others in matters involving the Home Ownership and Equity Protection, Truth in Lending, Real Estate Settlement Procedures, Fair Credit Reporting, and Ohio and Kentucky Consumer Protection acts.

Chapman represents corporate clients in litigation involving commercial loan workouts, receiverships, defense of consumer matters, as well as contract and residential real estate issues. He also has nearly 40 years of experience in creditors’ rights law.

Chapman is a member of the Kentucky and Ohio State Bar associations. He received his law degree from Northern Kentucky University Salmon P. Chase College of Law in 1987 and his undergraduate degree from University of Kentucky in 1984.
