PDFFrench joins Plunkett Cooney’s Commercial Litigation Practice Group
Attorney Thomas G. French recently joined the Chicago office of Plunkett Cooney, one of the Midwest’s oldest and most accomplished full-service law firms.
A member of the firm’s Commercial Litigation Practice Group, French represents clients in state and federal courts in complex disputes involving breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, restrictive covenants, business divorces, environmental disputes, bid contests, debarment proceedings, banking, commercial torts, and employment disputes. He has also conducted several internal investigations on behalf of his clients.
Admitted to practice in Illinois, Kentucky and Indiana, French’s clients range from Fortune 10 companies to family-owned businesses. He also has experience handling matters involving commercial law, real estate law, administrative law, environmental law, municipal liability and employment law.
French received his law degree from Indiana University – Maurer School of Law in 2016. While in law school, he worked as an extern at the U.S. Department of Energy’s Office of the Assistant General Counsel for Technology Transfer and Intellectual Property in Washington, D.C. He graduated, cum laude, from Miami University in 2011.
