Bio

Kelly J. Shefferly is a member of Plunkett Cooney’s Business Transactions & Planning Practice Group. He has experience representing small and large businesses in various matters, including troubled commercial loans and commercial litigation.

Mr. Shefferly assists creditors in workouts, collections, foreclosures and bankruptcy cases. He also provides counsel for corporate transactional matters on behalf of individuals and businesses. 

Mr. Shefferly is a former judicial law clerk for Judge Lisa S. Gretchko in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Michigan, judicial extern for Judge Wendy Lynn Potts in the Business Court at the 6th Circuit Court in Pontiac, Michigan and judicial extern for Judge Deborah L. Thorne of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Illinois in Chicago.
