GM to use Bankruptcy as Shield to Deny Ignition Switch Lawsuits

Plunkett Cooney product liability attorney Ed Higgins tells The Detroit Free Press that from a defense attorney's perspective, General Motors' use of bankruptcy protection to shield itself from liability and potentially significant litigation costs resulting from alleged defective ignition switches is a "no brainer" strategy.
