Bio
Regan Glenn is a member of Plunkett Cooney's Governmental Law, White Collar Criminal Defense and Torts & Litigation practice groups. Her practice is focused in the areas of municipal law, white collar criminal defense, internal corporate investigations, institutional and business compliance, general liability, premises liability and motor vehicle litigation.
Ms. Glenn maintains a robust municipal law practice that includes the defense of litigation brought against Michigan communities. Her practice includes particular expertise in the defense of police liability cases alleging unlawful search and seizure, false imprisonment, malicious prosecution, among other claims. She also serves as prosecutor for a mid-Michigan municipality, handling the community’s misdemeanor civil and criminal matters.
With respect to her litigation defense practice, Ms. Glenn represents a variety of clients, including retailers, professional services providers, landlords and individuals when they become entangled in disputes involving such issues as breach of contract and conversion, fraud and misrepresentation, premises liability, pet liability, employment law, construction liability and motor vehicle accidents.

- Drafted a successful motion to dismiss in lieu of answer in a Section 1983 case filed in federal court for claimed alleged violations of the Fourth, Fifth, Eighth and Fourteenth amendments
- Drafted and successfully argued a motion for summary disposition in a professional liability case for claims of vicarious liability, negligent misrepresentation, fraud and breach of fiduciary duty.
- Drafted a successful motion to dismiss in state court based on governmental immunity, collateral estoppel and failure to state a claim
- Drafted a successful motion to dismiss in federal court based on qualified immunity, failure to state a claim, collateral estoppel and the applicable statute of limitations
