Bio
Peter J. Florian is a member of Plunkett Cooney's Torts & Litigation Practice Group. He focuses his practice in the area of general litigation defense, including premises and transportation liability, as well as banking and real estate law.
Mr. Florian defends a variety of clients, including the policyholders of some of the world's leading insurance companies, in disputes involving premises liability claims, general negligence claims, including slip and falls, and first- and third-party auto negligence claims that cover personal injury and comparative negligence issues. He also has experience with mortgage workouts and foreclosures, title disputes and homeowner association contract disputes.
A 2025 graduate of the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law, Mr. Florian was a member of the Business Law Society and served as a Moot Court Board Junior Member. He also received numerous academic accolades, including basic United States Federal Income Tax and secured transactions book awards.
