Lisa A. Hall is a member of Plunkett Cooney’s Banking, Bankruptcy & Creditors’ Rights Practice Group. Lisa focuses her practice in the areas of creditors’ rights, bankruptcy, collections, commercial litigation and real estate law.

Lisa represents financial institutions and special servicers in the area of loan origination, loan workout, loan restructuring, foreclosures, receiverships and other banking-related litigation. In addition, Lisa’s expansive experience includes handling Small Business Administration loan collections.

Lisa has been selected by Michigan Super Lawyer magazine as a “Rising Star” in Bankruptcy & Creditor/Debtor Rights, an honor bestowed upon young attorneys as nominated by peers in the legal community and supported by the publication’s independent research staff. She has received this honor since 2013.

Lisa is a member of the State Bar of Michigan and the Grand Rapids and Federal bar associations. She also serves on the board of directors for the Western Chapter of the Risk Management Association.

Representative Client Work

  • Represents local and national financial institutions in commercial loan workouts involving loans in excess of $20 million
  • Negotiated and drafted multiple loan sales and loan restructures
  • Conducts residential and commercial foreclosures for regional and national lending institutions
  • Successfully represented local and national financial institutions in collection proceedings for credits in excess of $1 million resulting in 100 percent recovery of the indebtedness owing, including all attorney fees
  • Drafted loan documents for financial institutions involving credits in excess of $20 million
  • Represents local and national financial institutions in foreclosure proceedings involving both commercial and residential property
